Toronto Maple Leafs stars Brandon Carlo and Anthony Stolarz have been out with injuries, and the fans have been concerned about when they will come back.
Anthony Stolarz and Brandon Carlo have missed over a week of action with injuries, and it is certainly taking its toll on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In Stolarz's absence, goaltender Joseph Woll has had to take on the workload, and as you can imagine, it has not been easy for the netminder.
As for the defense, it has struggled in Carlo's absence. Guys like Dakota Mermis and Troy Stecher have had to come into the fold, and it hasn't worked out so well.
Now, the Leafs are on a road trip, and with the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes on the horizon, it is clear that the Leafs need some guys back.
When are Anthony Stolarz and Brandon Carlo coming back?
Earlier today, Leafs head coach Craig Berube revealed to the media that Stolarz won't be coming with the Leafs on their road trip, which means he's out for the long haul.
As for Carlo, he is expected to practice on Monday, and if everything works out, he will get to play on Tuesday against the Panthers.
Anthony Stolarz (upper body) is not traveling with the Maple Leafs.
If Brandon Carlo (lower body) gets through Monday's practice in Florida well, he'll be "close" to game action, per Berube. Earliest return would be Tuesday vs. Panthers, then.

For Toronto Maple Leafs fans, this is tough news, especially when it comes to Anthony Stolarz, who has already had a tough season.
However, the news about Carlo is certainly enough to make fans excited. Finally, it seems as though there is something to cheer for on the blue line.
But first, the Leafs must get through the Washington Capitals on Friday night and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.
