Michael Bunting gets one of the softest misconducts in the history of the league
Toronto Maple Leaf forward Michael Bunting has a reputation around the National Hockey League for being something of a pest, resulting in the officials calling things a little bit differently against him.
Tonight at the end of the second period, after getting a phantom unsportsmanlike call, Bunting is issued a 10 minute misconduct, merely for existing it seems, take a look:
Michael Bunting got a 10 minute misconduct for being a troll
Listen, I know Bunting is known for being a little bit of a disturber and sometimes, the officials call things accordingly, but this has to be one of the softest calls of all time.
I've never anything like this, Bunting skated over a discarded stick, by accident and gets a misconduct for it?
The league has had an officiating problem for some time now, nothing is going to be done about it, but this is getting beyond ridiculous.
