Anthony Stolarz Reveals the Deal he Made with Officials Before Game 3 Against the Senators

Anthony Stolarz and Ridly Greig have found themselves at the center of a bit of controversy throughout the NHL Playoffs.

In Game 1, it was Greig going after Stolarz and in Game 2, it was Stolarz hacking away at the Ottawa Senators forward without a single care in the world.

These two teams clearly do not like each other and with the Leafs goaltender being accosted for his behavior, there is no doubt he was trying to be a bit more tame in Game 3.

While speaking to reporters after the Game 3 victory, Stolarz made it clear that he actually had a talk with the officials prior to the game to make sure things went smoothly.

He noted that as long as the referees call goalie interference, he will make sure to put his stick and his blocker away. It is a fair trade that absolutely had to be made given the antics that took place a few nights ago.

At the end of the day, Anthony Stolarz is getting the last laugh in this series, at least for the most part these days.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have completely dominated the Ottawa Senators and on Saturday, they will have an opportunity to end the series once and for all, which is great news.

If you are a Maple Leafs fan, there is a lot to be excited about right now and it feels like the second round is all but guaranteed at this point.

Unfortunately, it only gets harder from here as teams like the Florida Panthers are extremely scary right about now.
