Brad Treliving Officially Puts Four Toronto Maple Leafs Players on the Trading Block
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has some big moves to make, and some fringe forwards could be the victims of some offseason trades.
Last season, everyone knew that the Toronto Maple Leafs had a major weakness when it came to their bottom-six. There were numerous "passengers" who just didn't contribute on offense.
This offseason, general manager Brad Treliving has been given a mandate to trade some of these guys away for assets like draft picks or perhaps roster players.
Overall, Treliving has had a tough time making this happen, although he still has an entire summer left to make some significant moves.
Toronto Maple Leafs could be trading some bottom-six players
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, you will be happy to know that David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period recently reported that four Leafs players are on the trade block.
Those players include Ryan Reaves, Calle Jarnkrok, David Kampf, and Nick Robertson.
As reported by TFP's David Pagnotta on "The Hot Stove" on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio on Saturday, as well as by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman on his "32 Thoughts" podcast on Sunday evening, the Maple Leafs are targeting Roslovic and are hoping to move out at least one current player before putting pen to paper.
The Leafs have just under $5 million in salary cap space, but they also have a surplus of forwards and GM Brad Treliving is trying to move at least one of them.
Forwards David Kampf, Calle Jarnkrok, Nick Robertson, and Ryan Reaves are all believed to be available.

None of these players made significant contributions on offense, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if they were to go.
Getting teams to take players when they know you don't want them around is a near-impossible ask, but Treliving could work some magic.
The easiest one to trade would easily be Nick Robertson, but we need to see it happen before we even think about believing it.
Ultimately, the Maple Leafs are a good team, but in order to get serious about next season, Treliving cannot stop working.
