Macklin Celebrini has Ryan Warsofsky's Sharks moving, and now Brady Tkachuk is saying out loud what the league is starting to see.

The big line from Brady was the one that grabs everyone first.
“This kid is gonna dominate this league for the next 20 years.”

That is not small praise coming from an established NHL star. And it did not sound like empty hype either.
Brady went deeper than that, and that is where the real story is.
“He is driving the bus for the team,” Brady said. That is the part Sharks fans will love most, because it speaks to more than points.
It speaks to control, pace, and how much of San Jose's attack already runs through a teenager.
Brady also pointed straight at the engine in Celebrini's game.
“His competitiveness is awesome,” he said. Then he added, “He is humming.”

Brady and Matthew Tkachuk share strong praise for Macklin Celebrini’s future

That is exactly how Celebrini looks right now. He is not only producing. He is pushing play, carrying shifts, and making veteran players talk about him like he is already one of the league's driving forces.
The age part is what makes it even more ridiculous. Brady basically could not get over that either.
“He's still a teenager and he has 100 points, that's wild.”

That line says everything. When a player that young hits a mark like that, the conversation changes fast.
At that point, nobody is talking about promise alone. They are talking about a player who is already doing star-level damage.
And Brady was not the only one on board. Matthew Tkachuk agreed, which gives the whole moment even more weight.
That matters because players know when someone is piling up numbers in a way that feels inflated, and they know when someone is flat-out taking over games.
This sounds like the second one.
For the Sharks, that is the best part of all this. Celebrini is not being praised like a fun rookie story. He is being discussed like the player opposing stars already hate dealing with.
That is a different tier.
San Jose still has work to do around him, no question. But when Brady Tkachuk says a teenager is driving the bus, humming, and on track to dominate the league for 20 years, that is not normal praise.
That is the sound of a future superstar already forcing the rest of the NHL to notice.
