Controversial Toronto sports media personality returns following bizarre firing
Toronto sports media personality Sid Seixeiro was fired from Breakfast Television last year, and now, it looks like he is finally moving on.
Sid Seixeiro is a Toronto sports media host who was beloved during his time on Sportsnet's "Tim & Sid." He eventually moved on to Breakfast Television, but that did not last long.
Just last year, he was let go from that gig, and it certainly led to a lot of confusion and anger from viewers of the program.
Since that time, Seixeiro has remained active on social media, although he has yet to acquire a new media job, presumably due to a non-compete contract, much like what we saw from Jeff Marek.
However, it appears as though Seixeiro has let on to his next move, thanks to a new video on social media, which was released earlier today.
Sid Seixeiro announces something new
In this video, Seixeiro asks fans whether or not they miss him, all while he gives off an evil grin for the ages. It's a great teaser, and one that should delight the fans out there.
Montreal sports media legend and Sick Media owner Tony Marinaro swooped in and hinted that the new Seixeiro show will be a Sick Media venture.
In the coming days and perhaps even weeks, it is likely that we get a better sense of what Seixeiro currently has up his sleeve.
If one thing is for certain right now, it is that the fans have been looking forward to hearing from him for a while, at this point.
It really does feel like something cool is on the horizon, and we look forward to seeing whether or not this will be sports or politics-driven.
Given the Sick Media connection, it really does feel as though this is going to be a return to the sports mdia domain.
