Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube had some thoughts about Bobby McMann on Tuesday night, and Brad Treliving must take notice.

When it comes to rumors surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs and the trade deadline, there is no denying that Bobby McMann is at the top of the list.
Having said that, it is a double-edged sword when you consider how the Leafs are still very much in the playoff hunt and could use McMann.
The forward has goals in back-to-back games, and there is no doubt that his trade value could not be any higher than it is right now.

Craig Berube has a message for Brad Treliving

However, head coach Craig Berube very clearly does not want to see the forward go anywhere, and for very good reason, if you ask us.
After last night's game, he offered up some thoughts on McMann that we can't help but parrot.
I've coached him last year and this year, and he has been a very good player for us in a lot of different ways.
Going forward, the Maple Leafs have to ask themselves if trading McMann is truly worth it or if it is an exercise in futility.
The Leafs are a team that has potential. They have won three games in a row, and selling now might just be a mistake, especially if the playoffs are still a possibility.
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs decide to blow things up, once and for all.
