Craig Berube Goes Absolutely Berserk on the Toronto Maple Leafs in Never-Before-Seen Footage
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was absolutely beside himself as the team got destroyed by the Florida Panthers in Game 7 of the NHL Playoffs.
Game 7 against the Florida Panthers is something that still haunts Toronto Maple Leafs fans, given the fact that they got beaten so badly.
It was Mitch Marner's final game in a Maple Leafs jersey, and for the most part, it was just a truly embarrassing showing that humiliated the Core Four.
Now, fans get to re-live this Game 7 moment on "Faceoff: Inside The NHL," which is Amazon Prime's new series about the National Hockey League.
During the most recent episode of the show, we got to see head coach Craig Berube's reaction to his team's collapse, and as you can imagine, it was not pretty.
Craig Berube was livid at the Toronto Maple Leafs
In the clip below, you can see that Leafs fans were absolutely pissed off once the team went down 3-0. They started taking their jerseys off, and boos rang throughout the Scotiabank Arena.
Craig Berube then accosted his team and even yelled at players like William Nylander and Matthew Knies for not putting in a good enough effort.
Matty, let's go, lead the way Willy, start moving. F*CK ME.
Given the totality of what was going on, you really cannot blame Craig Berube for his anger. It was completely justified given the entire situation.
Now, Mitch Marner is no longer on the team, and this could very well lead to a better playoff outcome this season. Of course, we won't really understand Marner's impact until the regular season begins on October 8th.
Until then, Leafs fans can rewatch this clip over and over again, thinking about how badly their team dropped the ball last season.
