Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has made a ton of adjustments as of late but his lineup against the Colorado Avalanche is definitely an eye-opener.
Craig Berube has had a lot of ups and downs in his first year as the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He has had to deal with numerous injuries as well as some contract negotiations that have bled their way into the locker room thanks to the rough Toronto media.
Coming into Monday night's game against the Calgary Flames, the Leafs had lost five of their last six games which was certainly concerning to a lot of people.
However, they came away with a 6-2 victory thanks to some key lineup changes that proved to make all of the difference.

For instance, Berube brought his first line back down to earth as Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, and Matthew Knies were reunited. We also got to see Pontus Holmberg with William Nylander and John Tavares.
The third-line was filled up by Max Domi, Nicholas Robertson, and even Bobby McMann, with the fourth line consisting of Scott Laughton, Steven Lorentz, and Calle Jarnkrok.
Tonight, against the Colorado Avalanche, Berube has decided that he will be keeping these lines exactly the same.

These are very decent lines and prove that the Maple Leafs do have a lot of depth, however, they also have to go out and execute.
The Colorado Avalanche are a very good team and it is going to take a strong effort to get the win.
Not to mention, they are in the hunt to win the Atlantic Division and a win tonight could tie them up with the Florida Panthers. This would be instrumental in giving the team a favorable playoff matchup.
