Craig Berube Sends Strong Message to Leafs Forward Who Struggled in the Playoffs
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has proven to be the perfect leader of men, and there is one player who could really use his guidance.
Bobby McMann was a solid player for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season as he came through with 20 goals, 14 assists, and 34 points.
Unfortunately, in the postseason, he was almost unplayable at times. In 13 games, he only had three assists and looked like a shell of himself.
Going into this season, the Maple Leafs are going to need McMann to be a lot better, and there are hopes that he can achieve new heights.

Recently, Berube made some comments about McMann and how he can become the player the Leafs need him to be in the postseason.
At the end of the day, it is going to be about using his size and his speed to really prove just how good he is.
He's a great skater, got good speed, big physical player, so for me, it's about focusing on using your speed, getting in there and arriving on time on the forecheck. Arriving on time at the net. Things like that.
For me it's all about wall play, and things like that, for a player like himself. I think he can get to the net more, he's going to get his looks from his speed and his shot, but he needs to get around the paint more. I think that's a big thing for me is getting to the blue paint more.

Overall, McMann will be a fascinating player to watch next season. If he kicks things up a notch, he could become a fan favorite.
That said, he absolutely needs to start playing better in the postseason, which is where the Maple Leafs tend to struggle.

Numerous Leafs players will have a huge opportunity this season, and there is no denying that McMann has a whole lot to gain.
