After a loss to the Colorado Avalanche, the Toronto Maple Leafs were back at practice on Monday, although the lineup was not looking too good.

If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, you are very likely frustrated by just how poorly the team has been playing as of late.
Overall, the Leafs are a team that on paper, should actually be quite good. After all, they have players like Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and John Tavares.
Instead, they continue to lose winnable games, and it has become a huge problem. Fans are starting to grow tired, and rightfully so.
Today, the Leafs were back on the ice practicing ahead of their game against the Buffalo Sabres, which is set to take place on Tuesday.

Toronto Maple Leafs lineup looks dire

It was here that Craig Berube showed off his projected lineup. Quite frankly, this is extremely uninspiring, all things considered.
Despite the poor offense, the head coach is keeping things the same. Auston Matthews, Max Domi, and Bobby McMann are on the first line. John Tavares, Matthew Knies, and Matias Maccelli are on the second.
We also see Nicolas Roy on the third line with Easton Cowan and Nick Robertson. Steven Lorentz, Scott Laughton, and Calle Jarnkrok round things out.
McMann - Matthews - Domi
Maccelli - Tavares - Knies
Cowan - Roy - Robertson
Lorentz - Laughton - Jarnkrok

McCabe - Ekman-Larsson
Rielly - Carlo
Benoit - Stecher
Thrun - Myers

The Maple Leafs are playing poorly with this lineup, yet Berube is completely happy to keep it exactly the same as it already was.
If they lose to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday, we will know exactly why.
