Newly acquired Toronto Maple Leafs forward Dakota Joshua is going to be in for an interesting season, but it is clear that his mindset will win over Maple Leafs fans.
Dakota Joshua went through a lot last season after being diagnosed with testicular cancer, and there were many fans around the NHL who rallied around him.
Having said that, he didn't have the greatest season with the Vancouver Canucks. With just seven goals and seven assists, it felt like a change of scenery was necessary.
Recently, the Toronto Maple Leafs traded for Joshua, and now, fans are excited to see what he can do for the franchise.

The forward got to speak with Leafs Morning Take on Wednesday, and as you are going to read, his comments are a thing of beauty.
He noted that he is a player who can do anything, and that whatever Craig Berube wants, he is going to do. Simply put, he is laying it all on the line.
I like to think that I can do a little bit of everything. A big part of my game is getting in on the forecheck and being disruptive, but also providing a physical presence. And then underrated -- I believe in myself that I can score too, so I feel like I add a little bit of everything. Someone who can play up and down the lineup and in all situations, so whatever Leafs Nation needs, I feel like I can provide.

You want players on your team who want to be there and want to compete. Guys who want to be in the trenches no matter what.
This is a mentality that has been missing on the team for quite some time, but it does feel like Joshua is going to help turn that tide for the better.
