Drake Shows Love to Two Toronto Maple Leafs Legends

Drake is a fan of all Toronto sports teams, and recently, he unleashed his hockey side by paying homage to two of the Toronto Maple Leafs' biggest legends.
Throughout the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs, there have been plenty of legends who have left their mark on the franchise.
Unfortunately, fans can get wrapped up in the present, and these legends get forgotten. However, it is important to celebrate the rich history of the Toronto Maple Leafs whenever possible.
One person who seems to love the history of the Leafs, is none other than superstar rapper Drake, who has always shown love to Toronto sports teams.
Drake pays homage to Borje Salming and Mats Sundin
Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, Drake actually threw fans for a loop when he decided to post a tribute to two Toronto Maple Leafs legends.
In the screenshot below, you can see that Drizzy had a post featuring a photo of Borje Salming and Mats Sundin together. The image appears as though it was taken in the 90s.
Salming and Sundin are two Swedish hockey legends, and they represent varied generations of Toronto Maple Leafs superstars.
If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you should absolutely understand the legacy of players like Salming and Sundin, who were incredible during their time in the league.
Overall, Salming and Sundin were great ambassadors for the franchise, and we are happy that we got to see them play.
As for Drake, surely we will be seeing him at the Scotiabank Arena this season. Perhaps his new album Iceman, will even have some hockey influence.
Whatever the case may be, between Drake and Justin Bieber, there will be plenty of celebrities watching the Leafs this season.
