EA Sports Confirm Just How Underrated the Toronto Maple Leafs Are This Season

EA Sports NHL 26 is going to be dropping soon, and with that, we now know the overall ratings for every single player on the Toronto Maple Leafs roster.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are going into the upcoming season as underdogs, thanks to the fact that Mitch Marner is no longer on the team.
Overall, the Leafs are being counted out as Stanley Cup favorites, and the fans aren't so sure what to make of their roster. Clearly, it's not as good as last year's.
However, with the release of EA Sports NHL 26, it would appear as though the Maple Leafs aren't as bad as some would assume.
We say this because the overall ratings have been revealed, and as you will see, various players on the team have been given some very generous ratings.
Toronto Maple Leafs ratings in NHL 26
Below, you can see that Auston Matthews is a 94, while William Nylander is a 92, and John Tavares is an 88. Morgan Rielly and Matthew Knies were both set at 87, which is very respectable.
Brandon Carlo was at 86, while a plethora of players were at 85, including Chris Tanev, Anthony Stolarz, Joseph Woll, and even Jake McCabe.
The NHL season is coming up fast, and that will be the true test of how good this Toronto Maple Leafs roster is or isn't.
That said, the Leafs fans out there who like to game will definitely be giving this new iteration of EA Sports NHL a try.
It's been fun seeing all of the fans out there debate the ratings and who is deserving of what. Ultimately, there is no true consensus on this kind of thing.
