Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is enjoying his Olympic break, and on Friday, he made an announcement that can be seen as a great personal achievement.
Joseph Woll and the Toronto Maple Leafs are currently on break from now until the end of February, when the Olympics are over.
Overall, it is going to be a very fun time for the goaltender, as he now gets to enjoy some much-deserved time off after a difficult start to the season.
After this break, he can potentially lead the Leafs to a playoff spot, against the odds. It would be fun to see, but there is no guarantee it will happen.
Meanwhile, it appears as though the goalie is making some big decisions off the ice, which are a sign of the success he has accrued in the league.
Joseph Woll gets himself a Porsche
While taking to social media, it was revealed that the goaltender just bought himself a new Porsche from the Porsche Center in Vaughan.
This is a big achievement for any hockey player, making enough money to go out and purchase your first luxury vehicle.
Of course, this is a slow news day material, and we are well aware of that, but get used to it. The Toronto Maple Leafs are on break for weeks.
There is a roster freeze, which means we will not see the Leafs get any new players, or even sell players during this time.
Thankfully, the Olympics will begin in a few days from now, and fans will be able to finally cheer on Team Canada, once and for all.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs' Olympic hopefuls end up coming home with some big-time hardware.
