Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube watched his team blow another lead on Thursday night, and it was painful for everyone to watch it happen.

Craig Berube has watched his team play some retched hockey this year, especially when it comes to the defense and their turnovers.
Going into last night's game against the Los Angeles Kings, the Toronto Maple Leafs needed a win. They had lost three straight and found themselves in seventh in the Atlantic Division.
On Thursday, the team, unfortunately, continued its losing streak. Despite having the lead for most of the game, they lost by a score of 4-3 in overtime.
Sure, the team was able to pick up a point, but that hardly matters when you consider that the team needs to start getting real wins, going forward.

Craig Berube and the Maple Leafs are not having fun

After the game, Berube was asked about what was wrong with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and what they will need to do going forward if they want to turn it all around.
Berube made things very simple. He said that it is a confidence issue. Players aren't making the right plays, even though those plays are right in front of them.
It's confidence for me... Plays are there, we're not making them and just not seeing it well enough right now. We gotta pick up our pace. We have to be more confident in those plays. To me, that's the difference
All of these losses are piling up, and with a record of 8-8-2, it really does feel as though the Maple Leafs are in a dire situation.
If you are a fan of the Maple Leafs, you probably aren't having a very good time, and it remains to be seen if things will get any better moving forward.
It's unfortunate, but the team is in a hole, and it is going to take a major effort to get the team back on track.
