Maple Leafs confirm starting goalie against the Canadiens after placing Joseph Woll on IR

The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking for a big win against the Montreal Canadiens tonight, and without Joseph Woll in the lineup, a decision had to be made.
On Thursday night, the Carolina Hurricanes got blown out by the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 5-1, in a game that turned heads around the NHL.
Unfortunately, for the Toronto Maple Leafs, it came at a cost as Joseph Woll got injured during the game and is now expected to miss a week.
He was placed on the injured reserve today, and now, the Maple Leafs have to figure out what's next in terms of their goaltending situation.
Dennis Hildeby and Artur Akhtyamov are the two goaltenders left over, but it remains to be seen if these guys are going to be enough to get through the week.
Dennis Hildeby starts against the Montreal Canadiens
Going into Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens, it was expected that Dennis Hildeby would be the starter, even before Woll ended up getting injured.
Today, at morning skate, Hildeby's playing status was confirmed. Akhtyamov is going to be the backup for tonight.
