Amidst all of this uncertainty, fans are looking towards Brad Treliving for the answers. Treliving can dictate the direction of the franchise.
He decides if the team is tanking for a top-five pick or if the team is going to continue to buy and potentially make a run at the postseason.
On Tuesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take on the St. Louis Blues, but before that game, Treliving has decided to have a State of the Union.
