Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is under tremendous pressure right now, and in the midst of a losing streak, he is issuing a press conference.
With the Toronto Maple Leafs on a five-game losing streak, there is a lot of panic going around the fanbase, and it is easy to see why.
Amidst all of this uncertainty, fans are looking towards Brad Treliving for the answers. Treliving can dictate the direction of the franchise.
He decides if the team is tanking for a top-five pick or if the team is going to continue to buy and potentially make a run at the postseason.
On Tuesday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take on the St. Louis Blues, but before that game, Treliving has decided to have a State of the Union.

According to reports, Brad Treliving will be hosting a press conference on Tuesday evening, and all of the Toronto media are invited to take part.
Of course, this is raising quite a few eyebrows around the fanbase, with many wondering what this could mean for the future of the franchise.
Whether or not this press conference actually brings about anything interesting is something that still very much remains to be seen.
Maple Leafs fans are running out of patience and would love to get some good news, but in the same breath, some feel as though bad news is on the horizon.
For instance, some have this feeling that Auston Matthews might be done for the season. Others think it could be an announcement involving Craig Berube or Anthony Stolarz.
Whatever the case may be, there are a lot of worried fans out there, and we don't foresee that changing, anytime soon.
