Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan could be heading into his rookie season in the NHL, and if that is the case, he will need to be as strong as possible.
Easton Cowan is the most high-profile prospect on the Toronto Maple Leafs right now, and there is a lot of fanfare around a potential rookie season.

Being small is usually a disadvantage, unless you are someone like Martin St. Louis or Cole Caufield. Even so, it is good to see Cowan bulking up.
It will be difficult for him to go from the physicality of the OHL to the NHL, but that is part of every young player's development arc.
Overall, the next few weeks will be fascinating for Maple Leafs fans, and there will be many cheering on Cowan to make the roster.
If he does, it will be an exciting time for the Maple Leafs, who are ready for another young player to come in and make a significant impact.
