Mitch Marner opened up on if he plans to watch the upcoming NHL Amazon documentary
At this point, almost every hockey fan has seen the video. The awkward moment on the Maple Leaf bench when William Nylander looked at Mitch Marner and famously told him to, "stop crying bro ." It was the culmination of the team's frustration after another hard playoff series.
It occurred late in Game 4 when the players returned to the bench. Marner clearly upset was airing his frustrations when Nylander who had finally heard enough told him what every Toronto Maple Leaf fan was thinking. Unfortunately for the two cameras captured this and so did the Amazon microphone being worn by William Nylander.
i probably won't watch it, to be honest. I like watching other documentaries, other sport documentaries. I'll probably tune in a little bit, but I don't think I'll be sitting on the couch throwing that on for the first opportunity.
Entering the final year of his contract Marner must find a way to manage the Toronto media and keep himself fully focused. The forward is looking to earn a long-term contract and giving into the outside noise could be a real problem for him. Only time will tell if he can manage that this season.
