Toronto Maple Leafs re-ignite Nazem Kadri trade negotiations

Calgary Flames forward Nazem Kadri remains someone the Toronto Maple Leafs want to trade for, and there are now reports that it isn't outside the realm of possibility.
Nazem Kadri is a player who the Toronto Maple Leafs love quite a bit, and there is no denying that the fans would love to have him back.
Of course, the team has been inquiring about a trade since the Summer. Unfortunately, for the Leafs, they have not been able to make it happen.
Kadri was taken off the market, but with the trade deadline on the horizon, it appears as though he is fully back.
Maple Leafs among teams inquiring about Nazem Kadri
According to Darren Dreger, the Kadri conversations are being brought up again, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to do something.
Joining them are the Montreal Canadiens, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, and even the Dallas Stars.
The Leafs are among the teams showing interest and kicking tires on Flames forward and ex-Leaf Nazem Kadri, with Montreal, Colorado, LA, and possibly Dallas also in the mix as interest around the league continues to develop.
Whether or not the Flames are actually going to move on from Kadri, still very much remains to be seen.
There are ongoing conversations between Flames GM Craig Conroy and Kadri's camp, but nothing is imminent. Kadri wants to do what's best for the Calgary Flames while also chasing a Stanley Cup. Calgary still has decisions to make, there's plenty of work left, and there's no rush from their side.
Only time will tell whether or not this is a realistic avenue for the Leafs to go down, or if they are kidding themselves with this.
Either way, the fans would love to have Kadri back.
