With the Toronto Maple Leafs taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, there was a large NHL presence in the building, sparking massive trade rumors.
Last night was not a fun one for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets by a score of 3-2 in overtime.
Thankfully, the Maple Leafs aren't that far out of a playoff spot. They still have room to maneuver. However, there is always room to make trades, and it is being reported that general manager Brad Treliving is making some phone calls.
In fact, the rumors of a Maple Leafs trade are growing louder, especially when you consider what went down inside Scotiabank Arena on Thursday.
Toronto Maple Leafs trade rumors take a new turn
According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, there were 19 NHL teams present at last night's game, with a mix of scouts and representatives in attendance.
Of course, those scouts could have been there for the Columbus Blue Jackets. However, the game was in Toronto, which makes us believe the Leafs are the targets right now.
