Multiple fans injured at Vancouver Canucks arena after barricade fails during UFC event
Well, as hockey arena's get older, we've seen them start to fall apart, take the Saddle-Dome for instance, where the Calgary Flames play, that place is falling apart at the seams and it looks like it's not alone.
Yesterday, Rogers Arena, the home of the Vancouver Canucks played host to UFC 289, during a fighters entrance, fans went leaning over to tap the fighter as is customary and the barricade collapsed; take a look:

Shortly after, Rogers Arena shared this statement from their Twitter account.
The safety of our fans is our #1 priority at Rogers Arena. At tonight's UFC event, as fans leaned over to greet the fighters, a railing fell down. Our arena staff worked quickly to relocate the fans in the affected and no serious injures we reported. Venue security and staff remained on-site throughout the rest of the evening to ensure everyone's safety.
Rogers Arena.
Is it just me, or is the National Hockey League starting to have a serious problem with the safety of their arenas in western Canada?
First in Calgary, now this. Someone needs to make sure these arenas are safe for fans to attend events at, it seems we're seeing more and more of this as time goes on.
