There has been some breaking news in the last half an hour regarding the Vancouver Canucks and one of their star forwards.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser will miss Game 7 tomorrow night against Edmonton, and potentially beyond, with a blood clotting issue.
"Vancouver Canucks winger Brock Boeser is expected to miss Game 7 against Edmonton with a blood clotting issue.
The exact timeline for his return is unknown, but several sources stressed this, thankfully, is not considered a life-threatening situation." Friedman said.
This is a massive loss for the Vancouver Canucks as Boeser has been arguably their best forward in the playoffs, recording a pair of hat tricks thus far.
Game 7 between the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers goes tomorrow night at Rogers Arena. The winner will advance to the Western Conference Final and face the Dallas Stars.
A blood clotting issue can have long reaching health issues and is the type of thing that can end careers. Hopefully Boeser and the Canucks this condition can get under control.
