The Vancouver Canucks were dominated 4-1 by the Dallas Stars in their latest game, and after the matchup, Head Coach Rick Tocchet was happy to explain why he limited the playing time of their struggling top stars.

During the matchup, the team clearly became frustrated with the officiating as well, including Tocchet, who delivered an absolutely brutal one-liner to the officials as they skated by.

Unfortunately for Vancouver, the chirp didn't help at all, as they struggled to build any pressure offensively, as they managed just one goal on 23 shots on the night to fall to the dominant Western Conference powerhouse.

After the defeat, Vancouver now sit tied with Calgary in games played while finding themselves one point back in the standings, and it's safe to say that while hilarious, this type of frustration won't help the team take over in the Stanley Cup Playoffs race.

While Tocchet has done some great things for this Canucks team, they've struggled mightily this season, and even without Quinn Hughes in the lineup, they've got more than enough talent to be much better than they are.

Ultimately, if they come up short in their chase for a spot in the post-season, questions may be asked about his future behind the bench, and after this spray of the officials, don't be surprised to see Gary Bettman and the NHL get involved in some capacity.
