Vegas Golden Knights forward Tomas Hertl accidentally injured one of the club's athletic trainers out of frustration in what was an embarrassing loss of emotion.

The Vegas Golden Knights managed to cut into their series against the Edmonton Oilers, winning 4-3 thanks to the late-game heroics of Reilly Smith.
His goal with 0.4 seconds left in regulation secured the win, giving Vegas their 1st win of the series after the Oilers had won both matchups in Sin City.
But there was one key moment during the game that resulted in an injury to the Vegas team medical staff.
Golden Knights forward Tomas Hertl accidentally struck the team trainer on the bench while attempting to break his stick in frustration.
It was clear immediately that an accident had occurred, given the immediate concern from players like Keegan Kolesar.
The team trainer was eventually able to return to the bench.

The Golden Knights and Oilers will battle soon in Game 4

Despite the bad bounce that resulted in the game-winning goal with literally 0.4 seconds left in regulation, Edmonton head coach Kris Knoblauch said it was simply the result of Vegas making a key play.
The game-winning goal, we're in good position. Really, it's a 1-on-3, he dumps the puck in, they retrieve it. We're playing a little desperate to try and block a shot. They make a play and unfortunately that's the end of it.

Everyone on the ice is in desperation mode, selling out to make that last save. Unfortunately, there was an extra 0.4 seconds on the clock to make that play happen.
