Brandon Duhaime of the Minnesota Wild unleashed the beast tonight as he handily beat the Florida Panthers Will Lockwood in a fight
The game between the Minnesota Wild and Florida Panthers tonight featured a heated tilt between the Wild's Brandon Duhaime and the Panthers' Will Lockwood. Unfortunately for Lockwood, he was on the receiving end of a series of punches from Duhaime, including a big one that dropped him to the ice.
Duhaime wasn't happy with a hit that Lockwood landed on him as he was going into the boards to get the puck. Duhaime jumped up and made the challenge immediately. Lockwood accepted, although he might be regretting that decision. Duhaime is two inches taller and about 25 lbs heavier than Lockwood, and it showed.
It looked like Lockwood may have glanced Duhaime with a fist at least once. However, Duhaime completely took over, landing a series of right hands, including one that caught Lockwood right on the chin with force.
Both got the standard five for fighting, with no extra penalties involved.
