Arizona Coyotes stop their fans from enjoying last game ever
The Arizona Coyotes played their last game as a franchise last night against the Edmonton Oilers. A few days prior, their fans had organized a tailgate and watch party outside Mullet Arena as a send off to the team, but in true fashion, Arizona had to let their fans down yet again because what would be more fitting than that? They have appearances to keep up, of course.
According to Coyotes Central, the team shut down the festivities outside the the arena, because it wouldnt be their final game without some dramatics; take a look.
Listen, nothing surprises me anymore with the Arizona Coyotes, but this is a new low for the organization as a whole, if toying with their fans and having the team move to Utah.
Fans try to have a little bit of fun, outside of a college arena are denied the chance to send their team off on a good note.
The National Hockey league and the Coyotes franchise have been nothing short of disastrous handling the situation at hand here. If one thing has come out of this whole thing, it's that Majority owner of Arizona Alex Meruelo should never own an NHL team ever again in order to save everybody.
To make matters worse, team owner Alex Meruelo couldn't even be bothered to attend the team's final game.
