1st round draft picks parents caught slipping each other the tongue after son was drafted
When a young player is drafted into the NHL, it's not just their accomplishment. It's the accomplishment of the entire family. It reflects on the parents who spent countless time and money to ensure their child was at every practice and game.
So last night Maveric Lamoureux was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes, his parents went in for a celebratory kiss. The ESPN cameras caught mom and dad swapping tongues and the crew were absolutely loving it.
Who knows maybe they thought they were on the kiss cam. Maveric, 18, player last season for the Drummondville Voltigeurs, where he had 24 points in 54 games. Expect Maveric, who is 6'7, to need at least a few years to get his frame ready for the NHL game.
