A 3rd member of team Canada that participated in the 2018 World Juniors has been granted a leave of absence from his current team.
While news broke not too long ago about 5 players from the 2018 Canadian World Junior team needing to turn themselves into London, Ontario police, a 3rd member of that team team has been granted leave from his hockey club.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, former Ottawa Senator Alex Formenton, who currently plays overseas for HC Ambr Piotta in the Swiss League has been granted a leave of absence to return to Canada.

Per his Swiss League team, Alex Formenton is granted leave and returning to Canada
Formenton, 24, hasn't played in the NHL since the 2021-22 season as he was thought to be connected in some way to this and the Senators never re-signed him.
It only makes sense Formenton is connected to the investigation by the London Police Depart and is coming back to Canada to turn himself in.
This is an evolving story, one that's far from over, but it seems like we're drawing closer and closer to the end.
