A surprising new favourite emerges for Nazem Kadri
Nazem Kadri was expected to be the top coveted free agent on July 13th. So to many people's surprise he remains unsigned 15 days later. Now it appears a new favourite is emerging.
It was expected teams like the Washington Capitals and the Calgary Flames would pursue Kadri. But neither of those teams have been able to clear the cap space to make it happen.
According to Greg Wyshynski the Boston Bruins could be the new favourite to land Kadri.
Wyshynski states that this depends on the looming potential signings of Bergeron/Krejci and the Bruins being able to move around cap, but he fits their system perfectly, adds much needed physical
Seeing Kadri in a Bruins jersey would definitely be a sight to see. After multiple suspensions in the playoffs against the Bruins, it would be the ultimate full circle moment.
