Anaheim Ducks provide an update on the condition of Trevor Zegras after being injured this week
Wednesday night in Anaheim Trevor Zegras was on the receiving end of a very violent hit from Jan Jenik. The hit sent Zegras hard to the ice, and the young star was extremely slow getting to his feet. The hit delivered by Jenik was a perfectly clean and he wasn't penalized on the play.
Earlier this week Ducks Head Coach, Dallas Eakins shared that Zegras was sent to see a specialist for a second opinion. Today the Ducks finally provided an update on Zegras condition.
Trevor Zegras is day-to-day with an upper body injury and will be on the ice today.
It's great news for the Ducks that the injury to Zegras wasn't much worse. Given the force and speed of the collison, it seemed very possible that Zegras could miss extended time.
