Anna Kane tries to sabotage Evander Kane's NHL hearing
Kevin Weekes made the announcement that Evander Kane was in New York City with his agent for his hearing against the San Jose Sharks. The hearing is intended to settle the disagreement as to whether or not the Sharks had the grounds to terminate Kane's deal. The Sharks claimed they terminated the deal after Kane breached AHL COVID-19 protocols, while Kane claims he never breached said protocols.
But what would an Evander Kane story be without the opinion of his ex-wife Anna? Anna Kane took to Instagram to share the details of what she called "The Slapshot Swindler".

According to Anna, Evander has attempted to get his contract terminated because of his bankruptcy ruling being contingent on the Sharks contract. If he has his contract terminated and a settlement reached he'd be clear of his bankruptcy debt allowing him to keep the full value of his current contract.

This is just another chapter in the smear campaign Anna has begun to run in her ex-husband. It will be interesting to see how the NHL rules on this matter, because if Anna is right this could be a very damning claim against Evander's case against the Sharks.
