The Buffalo Sabres have not had a good start to the season and with their young core in tact and signed long-term, many expected them to be able to take the next step.
Tonight looked like it was the final straw for their fans as the Sabres lost 9-4 to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Of course you expect fans to let their team hear it after an embarrassing loss, but it also looks like they may be calling for a change behind the bench; take a look.
Fire Donny» chants ringing through KeyBank Center.
Much like we saw with DJ Smith in Ottawa, the fans of the Sabres are letting their team and ownership know how they feel about the current coach.
If the noise gets any louder, don't be surprised if Buffalo looks to make a change as well. After all, Don Granato in parts of three seasons has an abysmal record and it seems as if the players on the ice have stopped responding.
