BC Juniors game begins with a line brawl, and features 17 misconduct and 257 penalty minutes
Yesterday the Nelson Leafs and Beaver Valley Nitehawks faced off in what ended up being a penalty filled affair. The two teams combined for 257 penalty minutes, 8 fighting majors, 8 10-minute misconducts, 9 game misconducts and only 4 goals.
While the physical 1st period set the tone, things picked up at the beginning of the second period when a line brawl broke out.
Multiple suspensions are expected to arise from this game, and the teams await a message from the league.
