Beer league hero absolutely obliterates opponent with a cheap shot for bumping his teammate
Beer league hockey can be a lot of fun or it can be the reason a grown man misses work the following day. Unfortunately more often than not there is always that one guy who takes things to far. That one guy who thinks he still has a chance of being scouted to the pros, this despite struggling to tie his own skates.
That's exactly what happened in this beer league clip posted by Hey Barber.
Crazy stuff in a lower division men's league game in Coquitlam, BC. Player accidentally collided with another player and another player randomly decides to steam roll him with a huge cheap shot as "payback." Even worse, I was told the guy had 3 goals and 1 assist and was playing well below his level.. what a joke.
According to one person in the comments this video comes from a poorly run league in BC.
But either way it's clear this beer league hero took things just a bit too far.
