Big hit on Auston Matthews leads to a wild scrum
As the Maple Leafs fell to the Buffalo Sabres 5-2, tempers began to get heated. It began when Auston Matthews landed an illegal cross check to the head of Sabres' former 1st overall pick Rasmus Dahlin.
After Matthews exited the penalty box he came up the middle of the ice and was caught with a big hit in the center of the ice.
Unlike what you usually see the Maple Leafs players on the ice came to Matthews defense led by super pest Michael Bunting.
