Boston Bruins goalie appears to suffer a significant lower body injury (Video)
The Boston Bruins are already expecting to be without Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy for an extended period of time. The Bruins also announced that they'd be without Taylor Hall for upto a month. Now it appears they might be down another body.
During the 3rd period of tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils, 3rd string goalie Keith Kinkaid appears to suffer a serious injury. After making a save on a point shot Kinkaid appears to be in some discomfort. That's when he attempts to stand up before falling back to the ice.
At that point the referees blew the play dead. The Bruins trainer hoped onto the ice and tended to Kinkaid. Kinkaid had to be helped to his skates before he was assisted to the locker room.
Kyle Keyser came into the game in relief. Hopefully the injury is not serious.
