The Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs have had a heated rivalry for the better part of the last 10 years. It's fair to say that there has been no love lost between the two sides, however it looks like that could be changing.
According to Maple Leafs Hot Stove Bruin star forward had this to say about the Leafs and the talent they have, take a look:
Brad Marchand on the Leafs this morning: "It's a matter of time until they make a really good push and go deep. They're just too talented. I'll be honest, I didn't have Brad Marchand praising the Leafs on my bingo card in 2023, but here we are.
Also touching on how difficult the leafs play teams defensively, Marchand continued to praise the Leafs.
you have to respect it, but they have definitely gotten better over the last number of years. They brought some D in that are much more defensively responsible, harder to play against, a little more physical and a little bigger. They are definitely improving, they are legit contenders this year
If Brad Marchand says it, is it true? I'm still not convinced. It's the Leafs, they'll always find a way to choke.
