Breaking: Marc-Andre Fleury makes tough decision regarding his future
Marc-Andre Fleury has been seen as the top goalie on the trade market. He's a proven winner and would make any team immediately better in goal, but it seems like he has no intention of making himself available to other teams.
When Fleury was traded to Chicago over the summer it was difficult for him to accept the deal. He didn't want to uproot his wife and family from their life in Vegas. Once he finally made the decision to move he hoped it was the final move of his career.
According to Steve Simmons it sounds as though Fleury has informed the Hawks brand new GM Kyle Davidson, that he won't be accepting a trade out of Chicago at the deadline.
Source: Marc-Andre Fleury has told the Chicago Blackhawks he doesn't want to be dealt at the NHL's trade deadline - which essentially removes Fleury from the market.
This move likely changes the landscape for the trade deadline goalie situation as it moves Seymon Varlamov and Joonas Korpisalo to the front of the line for possible goalies on the move.
