The trade rumors for Alex DeBrincat have been going strong for the last month. Now it has been made official, Alex DeBrincat has been officially traded by the Chicago Blackhawks to the Ottawa Senators.
Alex DeBrincat is going to Ottawa and in return, the Blackhawks get the 7th overall pick and 39th overall pick in addition to OTT third pick in 2024.
The Ottawa Senators are getting a great forward to add to their already solid core. With the announcement last month of the new arena and now DeBrincat going to Ottawa, the Senators will definitely be a team to watch next season.
It's clear the Senators are headed towards a bright future.
