Earlier this week David Pastrnak's agent JP Barry shared with Pierre LeBrun that negotiations with the Boston Bruins were ongoing. According to Barry the negotiations weren't close at the time, but as is always the case in the NHL...it only takes one phone call.
Less than 48 hours later new reports state that a deal between the two parties appears to be close, at least according to one source.
Scoops Keefe: The Bruins and David Pastrnak are finalizing an 8 year deal worth $88 million.
If this is true, announcing a deal before Sunday's Winter Classic at Fenway Park could be a major win for Boston sports.
