Breaking News - JT Miller signs a MASSIVE extension
The JT Miller Saga has finally come to a conclusion. After months of speculation and rumors the center has finally agreed to sign a contract with the Vancouver Canucks. General Manager Patrik Alvin announced that that two parties have come to an agreement on a long-term deal.
Rumors had swirled that Miller and his representatives had decided to cut off negotiations once training camp began. Today though Miller signed a 7-year deal worth $56,000,000.
Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with center J.T. Miller on a 7-year contract worth a total $56 million. The deal comes with an annual cap hit of $8,000,000 and will keep Miller in Vancouver for 8 more seasons. Last season Miller had the best year of his career scoring 99 points in 80 games.
This deal will help avoid any distractions as the Canucks look to bounce back from a disappointing season last year.
