Breaking News - Toronto Maple Leafs make big change to their front office staff
The Toronto Maple Leafs currently sit 4th overall in the NHL. Sitting just 4 points behind the league leading Boston Bruins. That success hasn't stopped the Maple Leafs from looking at ways to improve their team.
Today that attempted improvement came in the form of changes to the team's front office. According to Chris Johnston, the Maple Leafs and Director of Hockey Strategy and Scouting, Eric Joyce, have parted ways.
Hearing that Eric Joyce is no longer with the #leafs. He'd been with the organization since October 2020 and most recently served as the director of hockey strategy and pro scouting.
This departure leaves a major hole in the Maple Leafs front office. With General Manager, Kyle Dubas in the final year of his contract, it will be interesting to see how the organization proceeds with this very important position vacant.
