Brock Boeser's agent comments on reporter who asked about Brock's sick father
During the end of the season press conference, Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser was asked about the health of his father. Ben Kuzma of The Province prefaced the question by saying «I don't know if it's fair for me to ask, but is he ok?» It sounded like a question of true concern for Boeser's father Duke, but it may have been better to have been asked behind closed doors.
On Tuesday, Brock Boeser's agent, Ben Hankinson, commented on Kuzma's question. Hankinson said it caught Boeser off guard. Boeser wasn't upset with Kuzma for asking the question, and he almost felt a sense of relief letting it out.

Sometimes it's easy to forget that NHL players are humans with families. Having a parent go through a medical condition when you're away from them for long stretches of time is difficult. Hopefully Brock Boeser takes the off-season to soak in as much family time as he can.
