The Vancouver Canucks have arguably been one of the biggest disappointments in the National Hockey League this season. Sitting with a record of 17-22-3 and 6th in the Pacific decision, it appears something has to change.
One would think it would be a trade and not changing the coach, but no one actually knows what's going to happen. Even if Bruce Boudreau isn't at fault for the Canucks failings this season, he might be the odd man out. Something he is struggling with.
Boudreau when asked about his future with the Canucks got emotional and rightly so I would say. With all the rumours swirling, it must be hard to do your job. Especially if you know the writing is most likely on the wall.
I don't think it would be right for Boudreau to lose his job given the fact that most, if not all of his team is uninterested in even trying to play hockey, but unfortunately, this is the nature of the business today.
You can't help but feel for him. Boudreau is one of the good guys in our sport and he's clearly given everything he can
