Calgary Flames prospect drops Edmonton Oilers prospect with one shot (Video)
The Battle of Alberta is one of the most hotly contested rivalries in the NHL. From their regular season games to their playoff series last spring, both teams clearly dislike one and other. That disdain carried over into last night's rookie tournament game between the clubs.
During the 3rd period of last night's game Flames prospect Adam Klapka dropped the gloves with Oilers prospect Michael Kesselring. The fight didn't last long, as soon as Klapka got his right hand free he landed a short, but solid shot that sent Kesserling down.
The Flames went onto lose the game, but they were happy for Klapka to win the fight. With less then a week before preseason begins its only a matter of time before we get to see more tilts between these two teams.
