The Canadian National team is participating in Para Ice Hockey Cup that is taking place in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia between November 27th and December 2nd and by the looks of it, things are getting pretty rough so far.

During the second period of last night's game against that saw Canada take on Czechia, Canadian forward Jacob LeBlanc got absolutely trucked in the neutral zone, take a look:

Leblanc had gathered the puck in the neutral zone, had his head down and got lit up by the Czechia player before falling and getting his helmet taken on by another Czechia player skating by.

A 2 minute minor for charging was assessed on the play. Leblanc did not return to the game, but the extend of his injury isn't known. Canada did go on to beat Czechia 5-0, but you never like to see a player go down like that, especially on the world stage.
