Carey Price's health has been keeping him away from the game he loves. With so much speculation as to what is going on, Carey Price sat down with Apron Basu from The Athletic to talk about his current health and what comes next.

With everything that has been going on in the past 2-3 years, Carey Price is trying to stay positive and looking for the silver lining.

My knee still isn't doing great. Like, I'm still not walking up a set of stairs pain-free yet. I still don't feel like my knee is in a place where I'm going to be able to play hockey.

From what it looks like, Price has yet to wave the white flag. He is subject to getting an Osteochondral Autograft Transfer to try and fix his knee once and for all. This is the equivalent to the Tommy John elbow surgery in baseball. As Price shared however, if the surgery doesn't go as planned the consequences could be more impactful on his quality of life down the road.

For now Carey Price is taking it one day at a time and trying to stay busy mentally to help get through this tough time.
