The Carolina Hurricanes are hosting the Boston Bruins in what is a battle between two of the top teams in the National Hockey League. When two teams like this meet, it's destined for fireworks.
With Carolina already up 2-0 less than two minutes into the 3rd period, forward Seth Jarvis steals the puck from Bruins defender Brandon Carlo and dekes out the goaltender for a highlight reel goal take a look:
Everything about this play is perfect, Jarvis's hustle and relentless pressure on the puck and the move on Linus Ullmark.
The Boston Bruins aren't used to losing this season, much less getting made to look silly on plays like this, but at a certain point, this was bound to happen.
Jarvis, 20, is having a decent sophomore season, tallying 8 goals and 16 assists for 24 points in 48 games.
